Conversations With Carley

1- On the way home from the beach we were listening to the radio and Carley was excited about the song (one we had never heard) she squealed with excitement......"It's iCarly! It's iCarly" singing on the radio- and then she says....... "but 'they' call her Miranda Cosgrove"- Bert and I tear into laughter- she is such a music gooroo... we shazamed the song (an app on iphone) to verify if it were in deed Miranda Cosgrove and yep- of course she was RIGHT What you don't know who iCarly is? You can check her out on Nickelodeon.... 2- We were on the way in to church this past Sunday- Bert was carrying the lazy legged six year old and he made the comment that it was the first time that his leg had felt weak- and asleep in a few days (results of neuropathy) and so he kicked his foot around a little bit... Carley said, "Dad, you can do the Stanky Leg to wake it up"- we giggled and grined laughed out loud shook our heads and proceeded into church..... how funny!! Did you even know that the Stanky Leg is a dance/ song and she could probably teach you - she and all of the other recess kids.... where does our good money go?!? Entertainment for sure.. 3- Sweet! If you have not heard Bert and I spent 10 days in Minnesota at the Mayo Clinic for surgery- Big Daddy and Ma'maw spent 13 days in Minnesota at the Mayo - at their return we went to eat BBQ and Carley found a wishbone in her lunch.... she and Big Daddy pulled- and she won the wish- she has to tell you what she wished for..... " I wish for Daddy and Big Daddy to never have to go back to Minnesota- and for our family to all be together, for everybody to be well." Sometimes her sassiness and silliness is disguised by pure sweetness...
