We attended our annual church camp meeting this weekend- which is always a treat!!
Come Friday, campers and tents come to set up for a weekend full of fellowship and fun.
Since we are new proud owners of our baby camper, Martha, we decided to set up with the big dogs on Friday- we camped out on the grounds and had so much one on one time with friends and family. There is a peace about nature that makes you forget the worries of the world?!?
Our Sunday morning worship service during camp meeting is on the grounds as well. The ground is covered in blankets and lawn chairs- the choir sings along with the birds.
The clouds dance above your head, the sun light gives warmth to the morning chill.
It is a weekend of pure awesomeness!!
staying snuggled around the fire- cooking smore's, watching movies under the stars, playing bingo, corn hull and horseshoes- dancing ....gasp.... with the band and listening to great gospel music..... this has to be one of my favorite church events!!!
Dear God,
Thank you for the time of worship, fellowship and friendship you provided. I continue to delight in your creation. I am sometimes flabbergasted by Your wonder. You continue to amaze me!! In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
