Friday: Ear ache + cough + drainage = double ear infection
and antibiotics for 10 days
Saturday: Carley insisted she felt better to attend her BFF birthday party- 2 hour outing- I think she can manage..... she did
I left her and the Mr. at home so I could venture out to see the new baby in town- Congratulations Smith Family- Miss Maci is one beautiful baby!! I could have stayed at the hospital for hours to hold such a sweet face- she did give me the baby fever thank goodness she lives close by so I can hold her every time I get the urge-
When I came home, Mr. had pulled the top mattress off the guest bed and set it up in the living room (see picture above)- where we "cop a squatted" for the rest of the weekend-
Sure it makes the house look out of order but it has to be the best spoon full of sugar for the entire family- we grilled steaks, fried squash in this secret batter, and served stirred up mushrooms in EVOO and soy sauce ....yowzers!!
We dined in the living room, snuggled and watched all of our home made videos-
Sunday: Carley and Mr. stayed home while I went to church-I came home to a castle! As I walked through the door I saw a menu written out on Carleys chalkboard- the house was clean-the table was set with china-and lunch was served by Prince Charming. Of course I was late getting home from church (what did they expect?) I went to the grocery store to get cough medicine and came out 26.00 later with every thing but cough medicine- and didnt realize it until I got home and Carley was still coughing- where has my mind disappeared to?!?
After lunch, Carley and I protested to have the bed back in the living room (we won)- it may stay there for.ever- daddy cakes went up town to get some medicine with no complaint because he was developing cabin fever. Every time I attempted to blog, my shadow was with me and we ended up on PBS kids.com instead
which left me sayin "FRICKER FRACKER FRIM FRAM-ER" to days 16 17 and 18

Just Another Manic Monday

Please excuse my blog absence I had great reason to cuddle with my bug all weekend.
I realize that the weekends are not my best blogging time here's why:
