Did I mention we had a BiRThdAY???

Miss Carley had a birthday this month

and it is very hard to believe that this

sweet girl is seven!!!

We picked up ten I say TEN girls

from school- and took them to the

NaIL lady to have their manicures

they screamed

We got home and they ran like wild Indians

played inside played outside screamed

and so we fed them chicken nuggets, chips mac n cheese and fruit

to settle them....some

they enjoyed the silly faces and they made faces with their silly faces and laughed with each other and even at each other

I missed the opening of presents because it all happened so fast

ten screaming girls ripping into gifts but I did manage to

get a picture of what one sweet momma made

a spa wrap towel, flip flops and a beauty mask

we played pin the tale on the donkey- it got 3 squeals

we had a hula hoop contest with music --4 squeals

we made bead necklaces

and had an easter egg hunt with hidden treasures inside

(nail polish and lip gloss) -- 5 squeals

we ate popcorn vegged out in the living room in our pj's

and watched Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2

squeals - whispered secrets

and finally lullabied ten I say ten girls to bed

Did I mention we had a BirThdAy

and we did eat cake

not just any cake

a Mermaid Cake none the less

which happened to resemble the birthday girl

who happens to Love love love mermaids!!

Mamaw and Big Daddy had a pizza party at school -

and we went to hang out with her class

she picked out a new outfit which was typical Carley-

nothing girly

but I did manage to give her a nice hair doo

which pleased my heart

Carley and I made this birthday balloon wreath

I saw the idea on Our Best Bites

it was so easy and so fun to make

it added a little birthday glamour!!!

I don't know but I think this little girl was too excited to have her nails done...what do you think?

So one may ask what do you get a seven year old????

Meet Sir "Scooter" Davenport

He has been welcomed with open arms by our family

He has been the very best addition and is the sweetest pup full of personality and has lots of love to give

The mornings in our household have been a whole lot easier because Mr. Scooter wakes Carley up now and she is now a very pleasant morning person as she is anxious to give him lots of kisses!!

Dear Carley-

You amaze me each and every day! You are very smart

but you love to procrastinate (me too) you soak every word in

even when we think you have no clue what we are talking about.

Your favorite tv show is iCarly and Good Luck Charlie

Your favorite food is chicken nuggets, collards and rice

Your favorite thing to play is school

you want to be a teacher when you grow up

you are compassionate

you always like to be in charge

you are and always have been a very strong willed child

which I love about you !!!

You are such a blessing and we continue to count them daily!!
