Well who can deny their child the right to read when they beg: Mom can I please read one chapter of my Junie B. Jones book? Please??
She sat perched in her bed turning her pages reading hard words like ought, acceptable and clucked.
I loved seeing the words come alive on her facial expressions she laughed and giggled and even curled her eyebrows....
After her chapter I was excited to tell her about the Royal Wedding and the ideas I had for us to make hats and drink tea and watch the wedding....
When I went to tell her the exciting news of the marriage of a REAL Prince and a girl who will become a real PRINCESS she said, "Mom I already know and just so you know you will not be able to get on You Tube or Google that day"
Bert and I cackeled ...What?!?
She informed us that there would be too many people online that day so it would be best if we did not get on the internet, particularly google and you tube
???
I tucked her in to kiss her goodnight and we have a contest of who loves who more: I said I love you to the moon and back and to Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune and Pluto and back a million times- she interupted and said, "they" kicked Pluto out Mom....
???
I love this kid!!
Carley heard Big Daddy tell us the other day to stay off of the internet on Friday because so many people would be watching the wedding and be exposed to viruses on the PC. So, your girl is absolutley brillant--- it is a good thing that she keeps her mom and dad straight. Bet you learned something new from the little one in your life, she truly is amazing just like her mom and dad!
