Star of the Week

The first week of November brought many blessings.

Carley was Star of the Week.

What does that mean you say?

It means that this little star was able to take a lot of pictures to class

and tell about her seven year old self.

Camping pictures, baby pictures, roller coaster pictures, disney world pictures...

Each day she had someone special bring her lunch and eat with her.

 The teachers say they can spot only children a mile away. I wonder how? lol

The star gets to pass out papers, snacks, and even gets to be the line leader.

Whoo loves you little star?!?

The star snookered me into bringing treats for the class every.day.

We sent snack mix with m&m's and candy corn, cheese popcorn, gold fish,

vanilla wafers and hershey kiss, and Owl cupcakes on Friday for the wise second graders.

Owl Cupcake Recipe

1 box of chocolate cake mix

1 can of chocolate icing

1 package of oreos

2 packages of m&m's

Bake cupcakes as directed on the box

frost with chocolate icing

top with two oreo cream eyes

dip 2 m&m's in the icing for the inside of the eye

and place one for the nose.
