We were invited to join in on some super snow fun over the long holiday weekend. We ventured off to Ski Beech NC with some friends and introduced Miss Carley to 15 inches of snow, ski bibs, sledding, and snow boarding.
We let the kids practice on the porch.
I know most parents sign their kids up for ski school but
we figured we would just start them out at the top of the mountain and let them learn to get to the bottom on their own. Don't worry, one of our friends made for a great boarding instructor. The helmets made me feel a little safer- and I remember my dad pushing me down the top of a mountain myself.
The snowboarders happily obliged to taking a picture on the slopes. Thank heavens for
Amy because she always always has her camera!! If you have troubles knowing which child is mine here is a hint: she is in the purple.
We have been to Ski Beech before and never have we received this much snow.
We had some lucky charms with us that weekend.
It was beginning to look a lot like winter.
Wait Honey! Say Cheeeeesssseee!!
Prince Charming and I enjoyed a little night skiing.
We cuddled on the chair lift and enjoyed the snowfall!
Little girl on a Snowboard say What?!?
I was beyond proud of Carley-
She had no fear what so ever! She grew tired at the bottom of the mountain but refused to give up.
We all enjoyed the sled hill.
We had to grab a kid in order to ride down but we were not short on kids.
I think this snow bunny is just precious !!
January has been busy y'all!!

I am so glad that U3 had such a great time. When they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so true. I see the smile in all of your faces that reflects lots of fun and family love. Mamaw
