We gathered tonight at the gardens for a family memorial to remember the life of my grandmother.
It was absolutely beautiful!
She was beautiful!
We were reminded that this woman loved her family.
She kept every family picture and wrote on the back of each one.
She kept class pictures, report cards and even her children's art from 1968.
She kept a journal about everything.
She was very smart.
She was a caretaker and had no interest in being taken care of.
She was feisty.
And she would be the first to tell you that she was very stubborn.
My cousin, also known as the favorite grandson, wrote a song and sang it for her-
and for us.
It was amazing !!!
Talk about talent- he is very gifted.
And our grandmother has a very special place in his heart.
We circled and joined hands in prayer to thank God for the gift of life he gave to her.
May she be honored in the legacy she leaves behind.
There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens..
A time to be born and a time to die
A time to plant and a time to uproot
A time to kill and a time to heal
A time to tear down and a time to build
A time to weep and a time to laugh
A time to mourn and a time to dance
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them
A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing
A time to search and a time to give up
A time to keep and a time to through away
A time to tear and a time to mend
A time to be silent and a time to speak
A time to love and a time to hate
A time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

So sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family.
