Happy Fathers Day

We had a great Father's Day weekend - we headed to Daddy's (our) favorite beach and had such a relaxing time with great company and even made some new friends. FUN! We slept, ate, played on the beach, caught the sunset each night, spotted a few horseshoe crabs, witnessed two weddings right on the beach, ate at our favorite breakfast spot: The SeaCow, found a baby crab, and even a hermit crab who might I add was very, very afraid of us (and me of him).
We kept telling each other what a great weekend- what a good time!!
Carley and I made Bert this picture frame which we had up our sleeves for a while. We painted the letters - loaded them in the truck- and ventured out for some sunset photo's. Love Wal-Greens! Because, I sent the pictures to them- and poof they were ready for pick up within an hour- we let Daddy nap and came home to finalize our Father's Day gift. Of course, Carley had to wake him up because she was too excited to give him his present we had been working on.
We topped the night with a storybook ending. Carley and I had one more surprise. On a day off, Carley and I sat at the table as I asked her a series of "interview" type questions about her daddy- so at the end of Sunday night, together, we all read them- and laughed and laughed and laughed. Here is a few to share:
Q: How old is your daddy?
C: 16 ??? No 32????
Q: What do you think is your daddy's favorite sport?
C: Golf
Q: What is your favorite memory of you and daddy?
C: Swimming at the beach together because mommy is too scared
Q: What is daddy's favorite color?
C: Blue
Q: What is your favorite thing to do with Daddy?
C: Hunt (dove) but NOT clean them
Q: What is daddy's favorite thing to do? C: Sleep
Happy Father's Day to all, but especially to the one special man in our house who melts our heart.
We love you Bert!!
