I won't tell if you don't tell......

Well I am at work- posting- shhhhh... good thing for breaks- too bad I used most of mine already- and I have deadlines like crazy- but I wanted to put some pictures up for you. We took C to her very first USC football game the other weekend and we had a blast. 9/19/09 USC vs. Florida Atlantic Win 38-16- Go Cocks!! We waited for what we thought would be the right age, the right time to take Carley and we happened to score tickets so we jumped on the opportunity to go. She wanted to take a friend of course and we were able to share the day with Miss Pressley- First we took the girls to the horseshoe to show Carley where we went to school- it was also a special place because on 9/23/1999 Bert proposed right in the garden alley of the horseshoe. TEN years ago- boy time flies when you are having fun.... we took some photo ops to celebrate the occassion- and to embed the memory of a lifetime. I love the fact that Bert proposed in such a meaningful place- one that we will remember forever- and now a place we can share with our child. She loved USC- a gamecock at heart!! She and Pressley posed for picture after picture- and if you cant tell already- I think I have a hippie chick on my hands..... the outfit was a huge battle but we survived. We went to treat the girls to Zesto- YUM (you know I like my chicken fried) and an ice cream cone of course!!! We tailgated a bit to get all geared up- cheerleading outfits. check. USC tattoo's. check. Hair Ribbon. check. Snacks. check And in to the stadium we went- hand and hand. These girls were some kind of of excited and didn't want to miss a thing!! The music- the screams- the food- the cheerleaders- the football players- ALL of the peolpe- they were soaking it all in but one thing was missing and they were on the prowl for the one and only........... COCKY I wish I could describe to you the much anticipated entrance of the players, and Cocky- the 2001 entrance gives me chills to the bone every single time- I found a sight on youtube just in case you have never had this most amazing experience. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qCBVpBjFCY&feature=related and well if you have experienced it, just take a look- It will still give you chills.. The crows of the rooster- the fireworks and the band- these girls were ready to take the SAT to get the heck out of kindergarten and go on to Carolina.
