Carley asks all the time about stories "back in the day." You know when her daddy and I were kids which to her was long long ago. As much as I try to convince her that I really didn't live "back in the day" I have come to realize that well- there was no bottled water, the only dishwasher we had was me and my brother, we had an atari- a vcr- a record player- there was No Barbie.com and gasp.... we were latch key kids who stayed home until my mom came home from work.
I was thinking the other day how I actually used to have to use my brain to come up with creative ideas- and mom and I were talking one morning of how she is probably the only person with a full set of Encyclopedia's- I remember using them all of the time for school projects. And how we actually had to go to the public library to do research for projects- and book reports. I distinctly remember email making a debut when I was in college- so I guess I did live "back in the day."
Well- this brings me to Confession of a Blogaholic #2: I am all out of fresh ideas- I have lost my brain membrane to create- due to the wonder of the web- you can find anything from craft ideas, to homework practice sheets, to recipes to well you know.....
So for Valentines Day I found an awesome sight and was tickled pink to duplicate the idea from Me and My Insanity. She has every themed party you can think of posted and gives great ideas for decorations and class favors- hop over if you have a creative brain freeze.
Carley set up a photo shoot, gathered all of her mismatched clothes, pulled her hair up in a clip, applied her own make up, and used my great-grandmothers jewels. It was a fun impromptu Valentine's Day photo shoot

with her hands for a prop....good one
In order to create THESE:
bought pink bags from Target 1.69 for a set of 10
We filled the bags with chocolate hershey kisses
Stapled the pictures to the bag-
and sealed them with a kiss
and wrote: Kisses from Carley
Happy Heart Month
xoxo

That is the cutest project ever!!! I love it!!!
