What time is it?!?

Am I old enough now to have coffee??

Beauty sleep= beautiful

Today we started a new adventure: 2nd grade

I was informed by Miss C that I was not allowed to take the camera into school.

Her daddy snuggled with her in the bed this morning to wake her up with ease.

It was still dark outside so needless to say she proclaimed it was too early!!

The sound of the school fairy put a twinkle in her eye and she hopped out of bed.

That school fairy was smart!!!

She must have known that Carley was going to be a pickle to get out of bed

so she put all of the fairy-licious items in the dinning room. Smart move!

Because Carley JUMPED out of bed to see what the fairy had left.

Sassy skirt, funky shirt, book covers, calculator, lunch box, pencils, shoes, chapter book, and hair supplies. Sneaky little fairy......

We took her to school and made it on time praise the Lord, saw old friends, made new friends, met the teacher, peeked in her classroom, and went on our way.

It was early dismissal day so we all went to lunch-

When I asked her early this week where she wanted to eat lunch for her special day she said,

"Let me sleep on it"

Funny Girl!

We picked up a friend from school, met all the grandparents for lunch and have had a very special day.

We are excited to see where the new school year takes us.
