LABOR DAY 2010 We ventured up to Camp Wilderness which is a camp site situated right next to Carowinds- what FUN!! Luckily, I entered an essay in the Parents magazine and won us four tickets to Carowinds which sparked a road trip. Bert suggested we camp out instead of making a round trip in one day- hmmm... smart guy, sounds like fun!! He loaded the truck with camping gear and off we went- he remembered to bring EVERYTHING!! Once we arrived Carley swept the site- Bert and I set up the tent- sprayed it down with mosquito spray, arranged our bedding, and tupperware container closet and headed over to Carowinds for some rides. We closed the park- headed to the tent and listened to nature - it was a magnificent memory!!! Hi ho Hi ho a camping we will go....... we are looking for some future camp sites any suggestions?!?
