Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?!?

The Mr. and I will be in attendance at the USC vs. Southern Miss game tonight-

and to be honest, I was not that excited because Carley has a spelling test in the morning and if she does not do well I am sure it will be because I left her the night before for a date with her daddy?!?

I ventured off to 5 points for lunch today and BOY did I ever get in the mood for some Carolina football!! Every one and I mean EVERYONE wore their colors today: Garnet and Black!! Eating at Groucho's on game day is a must except the students can make the alumni feel OLD. A cute couple was sitting beside us and she had on a precious Gamecock Vineyard Vines shirt !!!! I had to ask where she got it so here went the conversation, me: Excuse me, where did you get your cute shirt? cute USC girl says, "Ma'am?" I about choked on my STP dipper- I got "ma'amed"- in Groucho's- on Gameday. Really cute USC girl- REALLY? and not once but twice- needless to say the shirt came from the bookstore and I will have to make a mad dash by there before the game.

Could it be my crows feet, my short hair cut or the fact that I really did graduate 10 years ago?

It only dampered the mood for a minute or maybe a few- but I tell you what you can feel the presence of the school spirit in every person within miles of campus- so now I am all hyped up!!
